Romantic 19th Century French Silk and Gilt Box

One-of-a-kind 19th century French ormolu box. This oversized glass and gilt box is constructed from beautiful beveled glass and a French blue silk that has us reminiscing of Cinderella. The tufted silk is adorned with pearl buttons that add another layer of romance. A gilded hook sits at its top to hold either a precious timepiece or perhaps a portrait of a loved on. The exterior has gilded accents ornamented in lovely detail. Perfect for storing heirlooms or photographing one-of-a-kind pieces within.
