Palazzo Doria Wax Seal Stamp
Inspired by a private palace within the walls of the Eternal City. The Palazzo Doria one of the largest private residences in Italy, opens its gallery to visitors daily. It houses one of the nation’s most important private art collections, with 650 works, including masterpieces by Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian, and Velázquez. This seal is an ode to their works...the crest showcases fleur de lis, a dove with an olive branch and a few romantic references to Italy's beautiful coast. A regal, but slightly feminine crown sit atop the intricate meticulous crest. We picture these beautifully unique seals atop lovely wedding invitations, notes to family and friends, branding or finishing a dramatic piece to an exquisite fête. Crafted from solid brass, each seal is finished with a hand-turned rosewood handle.
Each wax seal sits within a hand illustrated design by Signora e Mare. Its marbled matchbook box opens to reveal the stamp paired with a stick of sealing wax for immediate use.
