20th Century Framed Franz Liszt Portrait

Gilded brass and celluloid framed portrait of man in his clergy uniform...sometimes known as "Franz Liszt", 1811-1886. He has the face of a kind grandfather and one could well see him perched among a collection of family portraits or artwork. We believe him to be constructed as a photographic ceramic. He surrounded by celluloid crafted in the manner of bone. Delicate brass filigree accented with faux pearls surround.
